Aromatherapy is the therapeutic use of essential oils. These oils are extracted from plants. These oils are used in combination with massage. Oils molecules are inhaled and absorbed into the blood stream through the skin. Many essential oils have uplifting, calming, relaxing or sedating properties.

Lomi Lomi massage

Lomi Lomi is a Hawaiian massage. Hawaiian healing works on an assumption of seeking balance and harmony in life. It works on the physical, spiritual, mental and emotional aspects of every individual all at the same time. There is a focus on energy and working through energy blockages whilst the practitioner works the body.

Swedish/ holistic massage

Swedish massage works on the superficial and slightly deeper layers of muscle. Many people believe it can ease many complaints, such as increasing blood flow, improving muscle function and due to its repetitive long strokes deeply relaxing.

Indian Head Massage

Indian head massage focuses on the head, neck, shoulders, upper back and upper arms. It overall helps the body relax and achieve a sense of calm, tranquillity and balance. Indian head massage may be particularly useful for people who suffer from headaches and migraines or those who find it difficult to switch off and relax.

Colour Therapy

Colour therapy is a vibrational energy treatment. Everything on earth has its own vibration commonly referred to as frequency or wavelength. Every colour has its own wavelength which can be connected to our bodies vibrations. Colour therapy can be applied using a number of techniques including light, crystals and meditation

Thermo Auricular Therapy

This is commonly known as ear candling. A hollow tube is placed in the ear, it's burnt down to a safe level before being removed. It is always performed on both ears. It can be used to help rebalance the equilibrium of the inner ears. During ear candling blood flow is increased in the head, this increases oxygen flow to the brain which has a calming relaxing effect.


Reiki is an ancient Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promote healing. It is administered by "laying on hand" and is based on the idea that an unseen energy flows through us and is what keeps us alive. If one's energy is low, then we are more likely to be sick or feel stressed, and if it is high we are more capable of being happy and healthy.

Kinetic Chain Release (KCR)

KCR was founded by Hugh Gilbert, a physiotherapist from Govan, Scotland. It was created to help reduce physical stresses and pains by realigning the body. KCR involves a gentle series of mobilisations and stretches which realign the body reducing stress in the joints. When our physical pain reduces then of emotional/ psychological stress also reduces.

Connective Tissue Release (CTR) The Hugh Gilbert Method

CTR is the follow on from KCR. It is used when KCR doesn't fully resolve the issues presented. Specific CTR mobilisations are implemented after a full KCR session depending on the areas needing extra focus and attention.

Postural Energetics (PE)

PE is a beautiful healing mode and is the third in the triad from Hugh Gilbert. This is a simple exercise performed whilst standing that allows you to gently bring your own body back into alignment and ease your stresses and strains.
