Truly nourishing and deeply relaxing treatments that have an added level of care and knowledge.
The specialist massage treatments come from the many extra training days I have attended. None of these treatments are standard treatments that you get within an HNC/D or even degree in Complementary therapies.
The timings are similar to my standard treatment menu but with the Specialist treatments you can even get a full 2 hour massage which is not and will not be available within my Standard treatments.
Crystal massage
Crystal massage uses specially polished crystals to deliver the massage. The crystals are held in the therapists hands and are gently moved around the back in differing patterns similar to those used within other forms of massage. You can choose from Rose Quartz, Clear Quartz, Fluorite and Tigers eye crystals.
Cupping massage
Dry cupping involves using vacuum cups over the area where you are experiencing tightness and tension. It helps to lift and separate out the tight adhesions, relieving the tension felt.
Lomi Lomi massage
Lomi Lomi is a Hawaiian massage. Hawaiian healing works on an assumption of seeking balance and harmony in life. It works on the physical, spiritual, mental and emotional aspects of every individual all at the same time. There is a focus on energy and working through energy blockages whilst the practitioner works the body.
Manual Lymphatic Drainage
MLD is a deeply relaxing massage. The strokes of the massage follow the bodies lymphatic system and helps to manually move fluid into the lymph nodes so the body can get rid of excess fluid within the tissue. Long sweeping strokes are used to help move and drain the fluid. This type of massage is great when carried out regularly (every 2 weeks) to help stop this fluid becoming problematic.
Himalayan hot stone massage
Himalayan hot stone massage uses pink Himalayan salt rocks instead of black Basalt rocks. Himalayan salt has many healing benefits from the salt itself including converting positive ions in the air/ body to negative (neutralising them). A delightful warming and soothing massage tailored to you.
Kinesiology Taping
Kinesiology taping/ sports taping has been developed to support and help injuries heal. This could be a trapped nerve, muscle strain, sports injury or other ailment such as carpal tunnel or plantar fasciitis. Many sporting professionals are regularly seen wearing the brightly coloured tape.
Fire and Ice massage
Fire and Ice massage is a blend of Himalayan hot stone massage and cold marble stone massage. Each stroke of hot stone will be followed by a stroke from the cold marble stones. This will give a truly unique and intensely pleasurable experience. For many it will be ASMR inducing.
Mixed treatments
Mixed treatments include either 2 or 3 different treatments in the one session and are designed for one person. This is not something that can be booked to share with others.
