I won an award...

Back in March/ April I was contacted by an organisation called Prestige Awards. They wanted to ask if I was happy to be considered for an award from their organisation. They offer a whole wide range of awards across the country and in a few different countries. This was for their Scotland awards.

I was thrilled to be considered but didn't think much more of it. I had to submit some extra info about the business for the judging panel.

A while later I was emailed to confirm I had won "Holistic Massage Therapist of the year 2025/26". Yesterday I attended the awards event which was a networking event. I spoke with other award winners, had a video interview and my picture taken with a trophy. (Official pics and maybe the video will be shared on my social media channels when I receive them.)

I chose not to bring the trophy home. There are 2 ways these types of event are run. One there is a free event but you purchase physical trophies/ certificates to display or secondly you pay to attend the event but get the physical award for free. These events are run by companies that need to pay their bills so this is why they have these types of set ups. (I know some people won't know how these things work so I'm explaining for transparency.)

But the physical trophy doesn't matter. The fact I was nominated was lovely never mind that I actually won.

So I'm now the winner of " Holistic massage therapist of the year 2025/26" from Prestige awards (Scotland).
